MONNA REA (DAVIS) HERBERT
Was the daughter of Montell and Sherri Davis.Born November 23,1953 in Muncie Indiana. She had two brothers,Monty Davis and Michael Davis, and one sister Deborah Harnish(Wilson,,now). When my Dear friend passed on March 7,1986, at the young age of 32,,she left behind,( besides her parents and sibblings) two beautiful young daughters. Tracy Comstock and Andrea Scott. And her husband Jeff Herbert.

Monna was the best, most truest friend I had i my life..I was devistated, when she died. And have missed her greatly .We met in the fifth or sixth grade of school and became the best of friends, almost insepratable at times. When I was'nt at her house, she was at my house, Or, we were out together somewhere getting into some sort of myschief.(sorry Sherri :o)..Monna stood up with me as my Bridesmaid when I married,my first husband. And I stood with her when she Married Andrea's Dad. Even thought neither of our marriages survived, Our friendship was always there. I loved her like a sister, there was Nothing i couldnt say to my friend, without her careing and trying to understand. And even if it was something she did not understand, she was still at my side. Saddly, We did drift apart somewhat after we both married and had children, but I always thought of her and remembered our childhood, and young adult years when we were so very close. We knew one anothers deepest secrets, hopes and dreams. and often found ourselfs, in some sticky spots,(lol) usually because of some boy,lol. *****************************************************

To Monna,s family,,(her father Montell is with her now in Heaven,,RIP Montell),so,,Sherri Monna's Momma, I want to thank you "now", from the bottom of my heart for letting me be apart of your's, and your darling daughters life when we where kids. I'm only sorry I didn't spend more time with her in the end. *****************************************************

To Monna's two lovely daughters, Tracy and Andrea,I hope you know what a wonderful Mother you have. Let me tell you girls, I Know, she loved you so very much. And was very proud of both of you. And I have always said, you both have your Mothers beauty,(she was a beautiful girl) not only in looks, but in her heart too. **********************************************************************************************************
Okay, one more thing, Monna,I have looked and ,looked trying to find the pictures I had of you and sadly could only come up with two of you and a couple of the girls. So your family photos will be scarse on here untill I locate more ,,Or your family downloads some( which they are more than welcome to do if they want to.) 24 years now my Friend,,sure have missed you through these long years,,there is so much we had left to share,,our kids growing older and marrying,,our beautiful grandbabies,,the ups and downs of the crazy every day life things..... It's been along time,
I know you were Nila's best friend & at one time, I was just Nila's little bratty sister & a Friend of your bratty little sister.
But I remember after my husband & I got married you stopped by our house in town just to visit.I was surprised but really glad you did.. That wasnt to long before you died in that terrible car crash. The news crushed Nila, but it crushed us all.
I wanna say I'm sorry for all the times Debbie & I blackmailed you guys, Ken & Richard so you all could sneak out together. But we were kids, how else were we suppose to get money...
I have always looked up to you & Nila for some reason, I guess I just wished I was older in that era. And I always thought you were a beautiful person inside & out..You will always be missed
